Care Instructions

I was worried the crocodile pattern might make it look synthetic, but the leather feels thick and substantial in person. The finish has natural variation and already looks better after a few trips. It feels like a proper leather travel bag, not a coated imitation.
This is definitely heavier than my nylon weekender, but it also feels completely different. The leather, handles and hardware all feel substantial. I use it for 2–3 day trips and the shoulder strap makes the weight manageable when walking through the airport.
I packed two changes of clothes, an extra shirt, toiletries, a pair of shoes, my tablet and chargers without having to force anything in. Big enough for a weekend, but it doesn’t feel like carrying a suitcase.
The size is what sold me. It gives me enough room for a short trip without dragging a roller bag around. It fits my normal weekend load well and is much easier to grab when I’m moving through the airport.
I almost passed because of the price. After receiving it, I understood where the money went — thick leather, structured construction, solid hardware and a design that doesn’t look disposable. I’d rather buy one good travel bag and use it for years than replace a cheaper one every couple of seasons.
I looked closely at the stitching, strap attachments and metal hardware because those are usually the first things to fail on travel bags. Everything feels solid and secure, and nothing feels flimsy when the bag is packed.
I normally carry it by the handles, but the detachable shoulder strap is useful when I need both hands free. The clips feel secure and the adjustable strap lets me position the bag where it’s comfortable instead of having it swing around.
I expected one big open compartment, but the separate areas for my laptop, tablet and smaller items make a big difference. I can reach my wallet, charger or documents without unpacking the whole bag.
The dark brown is rich without looking shiny, and the embossed pattern has much more depth in person than I expected from the photos. It looks distinctive without being flashy. I’ve already had people ask me where I got it.
It had a noticeable leather smell when I first opened the package, which I expected. I left it aired out for a few days and it settled down quickly. Now it just smells like leather, not chemicals.
